Home Learning - Summer Term 2022
The national approach has now realigned and COVID-19 is now considered one of many respiratory illnesses. Children are expected to be in school unless they are unwell or if they have tested positive for COVID-19, in which case they should isolate for 3 days. Most absences are likely to be for minor ailments which should not give rise to lengthy absences.
If they do have to stay at home for any reason, please continue with daily reading practice and work on key maths skills such as addition and subtraction facts, number formation, number facts and place value if they are well enough to do so.
Should you have any queries, please contact your child's class teacher via the school office.

Thank you to all of those who attended this morning's Year 1 Curriculum meeting. It was great to have parents back inside the school building. Attached is a video of the PowerPoint with helpful 'voice overs' from our teachers. This will allow those who attended to remind themselves of the content. Equally, if you were unable to attend, you will be able to familiarise yourself with the key messages. There is also a link to a form where you can ask any related questions that you may have.

Please find below some YouTube videos of the groups of letters which are formed in similar ways to help support your child's cursive handwriting from home. (We do not encourage joining the letters just yet until we have taught this in class).
