Nursery

Welcome!

In our nursery we place children’s wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. We listen carefully to children’s voices and encourage them to make choices for themselves, helping them grow in confidence and independence.

Our learning is centred around exciting topics such as “Marvellous Me”, "Festivals", “Growing and Changing” and “On the Move”, but we also shape our provision around the children’s own evolving interests so that their play and exploration lead the way.

Following the Early Years Foundation Stage, we focus first on the prime areas of learning - Communication and Language, Physical Development, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development - as these are the foundations for all other areas of learning. 

Together with families, we create a happy and nurturing start to each child's school journey. We use an online system to share 'wow moments' with parents and we also run Stay and Play sessions every term where parents can come and enjoy time with their child and their peers in the setting.
