New Intake 2024
18th April 2024 - Welcome to Crawley Ridge Infant School
We are delighted that you have been offered a place by the Local Authority for your child to start at Crawley Ridge Infant School, commencing September 2024. We would like to extend a warm welcome to you as you join our school family. Please follow the instructions in your offer letter from the Local Authority to formally accept (or decline) your place with the Local Authority by 30th April. The Local Authority is holding a waiting list for the September intake and we would greatly appreciate immediate notice if your child’s place is not required.
In order that we may start planning to welcome your child in September, please complete the Microsoft Form that was emailed to you today, 18th April.
Following your acceptance of your child’s place, you will receive a Registration Booklet (via Microsoft Form) to complete and return to the school.
Dates for your diaries: (you will be able to confirm your attendance to these in the Microsoft Form)

Tuesday 2nd July from 09:40 - 11.00 (exact timings to be confirmed) > Stay and Play sessions. Come into school with your child to explore the reception learning environment. This is a great opportunity for children to meet the staff and make some friends.

Wednesday 3rd July from 18.00 - 19.00 > Meet the Headteacher and Reception staff. Learn about the school and what reception entails.

Wednesday 10th July from 09:30 - 10:30 (exact timings to be confirmed) > Story time. Teachers will have allocated your child to one of the two Reception classes. A chance for your child to meet their teacher for a lovely story, before the summer break.
To ensure the best possible start and smoothest transition for your child, we strongly recommend attending all three sessions above.

On the evening of 16th April Surrey applicants who applied online will be sent an email or receive a notification through the app with the outcome of their application. You will be able to log in to your account to submit your response.
Surrey applicants who applied on paper will be sent their outcome via email.
Responses need to be submitted to Surrey by 30th April.
Shortly after 16th April we will make contact with all families who have received an offer to start at Crawley Ridge Infant School to welcome you to our school community and begin the process of registering children in the school.
