Book Club

*** NEW IN THE SUMMER 2026 ***

In the Summer term, we are pleased to offer children in Year 1 and Year 2 the opportunity to take part in an after-school Book Club.

The aim of the club is to build enthusiasm and confidence in reading through book-related games, art and crafts as well as sharing stories. The club will run on Wednesdays after school until 4:00pm, with the first session taking place on Wednesday 15th April for 6 weeks. The cost will be £5 per session. All proceeds from these paid sessions will go directly towards purchasing additional books and reading resources to support learning across the school. 

When :

The club will run on Wednesdays after school until 3.50pm in the Learning Hub with Mrs Roberts. 

 

Summer Term 1 2026 :

Wednesday 15th April for 6 weeks.

Bookings will open at 7.30am on Wednesday 11th March on the Arbor app. 

 

At the end of the club please enter the school premises through the pedestrian gate which will open automatically - the first person through will need to push the gate until it locks open. Children will be dismissed through the school office. Parents should wait on the path outside, and children will leave through the white office doors. Please do not enter the school building.

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
