Book of the week

The children were treated to an unexpected snow shower on Tuesday last week which they absolutely loved, so inspired by that impromptu event I have chosen The Snow Thief by Alice Hemming and Nicola Slater. The book is a tale about a squirrel who has never seen snow before which reminds us how magical this can be for children. It is so easy as parents, especially at this time of year, to feel like you need to be everything to everyone and this can be draining. This article is a beautiful reminder of the importance of looking after ourselves as we journey through the highs and lows of parenthood. Enjoy with a cuppa!
