Now that spring has well and truly 'sprung', the birds and insects are out in abundance. Bee & Me by Alison Jay is a wordless picture book that depicts the delightful friendship between a girl and a bee, leading the reader on their shared adventures whilst also introducing children to the ecology of the world. It gently invites children to think about the relationship and responsibility that we as humans have to look after nature and what we can do to create balance and beauty in the environment.
