Reception Reading with the Juniors 📚

For the National Year of Reading and to help promote Reading for Pleasure, we are inviting small groups of children from Crawley Ridge Juniors to come over once a week and read to the children in Reception. On Wednesday, six children from Year 5 came and read to six children from Ruby Class; it was a really lovely opportunity for them all to share their enthusiasm for books and to enhance their experience of reading. We will be continuing this throughout the year with the aim that all of the children in Reception will have had the chance to share a book in this way.
