New Intake 2026

10th June - Transition Day - Tuesday 30th June

We are looking forward to welcoming our new Reception children and families to Crawley Ridge Infant School for Transition Day.

Transition Day is when children across the school spend a morning with their new year group. This helps children meet staff, see their new classroom and feel more settled before September.

We strongly encourage all children starting Reception in September 2026 to attend where possible.

Children who already attend Crawley Ridge Infant School Nursery :

  • If your child already attends Crawley Ridge Nursery on Tuesday mornings, there is nothing you need to do. Please bring them to Nursery as normal. School staff will manage their transition during the morning and make sure they are part of the Reception transition session.

  • If your child attends Crawley Ridge Nursery but does not normally attend on a Tuesday morning, please follow the information in this letter in the same way as children who are new to our school.
