Facilities

Crawley Ridge Infant School is a community co-educational school for pupils aged 2-7 years. It was opened on 3rd September 1969 and was built on the site of a large country house just outside Camberley.

Crawley Ridge has six bright and welcoming classrooms, each with direct access to our outdoor spaces, making it easy for children to move between indoor and outdoor learning.

Our two Reception classrooms are connected by large opening doors, creating a flexible shared space where children can move between both classrooms and access a wider range of resources and learning opportunities.

Each classroom has its own cloakroom facilities, providing children with easy access to their belongings and supporting their growing independence.

Our school also offers a range of purposeful shared spaces that enrich children's learning and experiences.

Our library provides a welcoming space for children to discover new books, develop a love of reading and explore stories beyond the classroom.

We have a modern, well-equipped kitchen, alongside a large, versatile hall which supports a wide range of activities, including PE, music, performances and whole-school events.

Crawley Ridge is fortunate to have beautiful, spacious grounds that are an important part of school life and learning.

At the heart of the school is a peaceful courtyard, alongside two large playgrounds with a range of opportunities for active and imaginative play, including a trim trail, mud kitchen, wooden boat and multi-use court.

Our wooded area provides a wonderful natural space for children to explore, with a dedicated Forest School area and woodland theatre supporting outdoor learning, creativity and a connection with nature.

The large playing field is used by both the Junior and Infant school.

The Infant school is securely fenced and all doors have controlled access.
