As we begin to think about picnics and enjoying time spent outside, you might want to dip into this entertaining picture book! The Disgusting Sandwich by Gareth Edwards and Hannah Shaw is a delightfully disgusting picture book which follows the journey of a sandwich after it is dropped by a child in a park. This results in a host of familiar creatures, from squirrels to slugs, investigating whether this is the sandwich for them, before poor old desperate badger manages to get his hands on it. The book is great fun and is sure to become a firm favourite.
