Book of the week

After the hot week that we've just had, sitting down together to read Wild Summer by Sean Taylor, Alex Morss & illustrated by Cinyee Chiu is just the tonic you need. This vibrant picture explores the relationship between a granddaughter and grandpa as they explore the natural beauty that summer brings and hopefully heralds the sunny days we have ahead of us (although perhaps not quite as hot!). It also begs the question - do we want summer to last forever? - and surely at this point in the year the answer has to be yes!
