Book of the week

Quentin Blake is famous for his illustrations of Roald Dahl's books, but he is also an author in his own right and was the very first children's laureate celebrating children's books in 1999. His picture book, The Green Ship, is wonderfully engaging and, as you would expect, fabulously illustrated. It takes children on a thrilling adventure of the imagination.
