Online Safety is recognised as an important part of the Computing curriculum and objectives are taught throughout the year as appropriate to the resources and context of learning. We aim to ensure all pupils:

  • Know what information is personal to them, and understand this information should only be shared with trusted adults
  • Understand the importance of checking with an adult before participating in an online environment
  • Can identify characteristics of people who are trustworthy and can help them make choices that keep them safe
  • Are open with trusted adults about online experiences, and identify when their help may be needed
