Crawley Ridge School opened on 3rd September 1969. It was built on the site of a large country house and we enjoy pleasant surroundings. The school is a Community Co-educational Infant School (4-7 years).
	The building consists of an administrative block, hall, six classrooms, library and a kitchen. An additional room is used by the private nursery. All classrooms have a quiet area, either shared or individual, and all have their own toilets and washing facilities. There is a spacious hall with large apparatus for PE. There is on-site accommodation for the caretaker.
	The school is fortunate to have lovely grounds. At the heart of the school is a peaceful courtyard with a pond. There are two playgrounds with play equipment, wooded play areas and an outdoor woodland theatre.Please visit the Gallery section to view photographs.
	There is one car park area for the use of the school staff and a small front area for authorised parking only. All other parking has to be outside the school grounds.
	The number on roll as at September 2008 was 180. Our published Admission number is 60.
	There are two classroom units in each year group in the School as follows: Reception (Ruby Class, Diamond Class) Year One (Amethyst Class, Topaz Class) Year Two (Sapphire Class, Emerald Class)
